In the picture on the right is Joe Markey and his dad (Bob) right after graduation Friday evening. Michelle Zimmerman also graduated from Hoover H.S. (Des Moines) Friday, but we didn't see her afterwards. Izaac came home with me after graduation Friday evening. We had a fun day on Sunday, when Grandma Walker and Aunt Mary came from Sac City and Kathy came (John's older sister from Minneapolis, but was visiting someone in Ames) for lunch. Then we went to Story City to the little mall and Mary got some new clothes for her trip to New York City for the 4th of July. It's a tour, and they will be in the harbor for the fireworks on the 4th. Cool.
Izaac and Uncle Johnny are looking at the bad storm clouds (in the left picture) to the south of our house at about 7:30pm Sunday evening. This was 2 1/2 hours AFTER the tornadoes hit Parkersburg (and some other places) in Iowa that killed seven people (at last count). Parkersburg is 70 miles east of us.
