Day 4 with the new kitten June 23, 2014

This was Grace's first response to the newcomer on Friday.  Grace is actually the first one who has seemed to accept Watson.  (I called it Sherlock when I was doing the 'detective work' to locate the crying kitten in the garage, but now think it's a girl, so we switched names to Watson... for Joan Watson on the new "Elementary" Sherlock Holmes television series.)

Art fair in Fort Dodge (Iowa) June 21, 2014

 My friend found out about an art museum in Ft. Dodge that was holding an art fair today.  Why not?

 There are some really huge houses in Ft. Dodge.   (I don't know who lives in them.)

Why do we get so lucky??

 I opened the garage door this morning and heard LOUD crying coming from John's truck.

 It only took a few minutes to convince him to come out, and he came right to me.

 Not sure how he got up into the underneath of the truck, but why are we so lucky to keep getting visits from other people's cats?

He's had some food, a drink, some play time, and now a nap.  The five furry children who already live here did NOT approve of him!
