John's cousin is fascinated by trains, so we invited him to go with us on the train ride across the High bridge between Boone and Ogden (Iowa).
This is the 'small' passenger train that was giving rides during Family Day!
Then we were loaded on the passenger cars (there were bunches of train rides to accommodate all the requests to ride over the high bridge!) and started on our journey.
The drought is evident in the Des Moines River view from the High Bridge!
We met a coal train on the main line.
(I've been having a little trouble with the new computer and photo editing software, so my blogging has been frustrating lately. Hopefully I've found the program that communicates better with me and the computer!)
