"Before the blizzard"

I had just been telling my hubby that I wasn't sure we needed any more suet cakes for the woodpecker because I hadn't seen him in a long time. He had been faithfully visiting our feeders before we acquired the extra cats last year (5 orphans in July, 2008). He's back!

It's snowing, and we're in a 'blizzard watch' until noon tomorrow. Our area of Iowa is expected to receive 7-12 inches of snow before it stops snowing, and then the winds are supposed to start howling at around 30-40 mph! It's a good time to stay inside!
